Minnesota Bug Competition 2

So I found this bug in the grass outside the front doors of our apparment complex on Friday. On saturday the bug was sighted again by Kate, Ethan, & Izzy in the garage....smashed!

So who ever can give me the correct scientific and common name will get a special something from the Richmonds in Minnesota.
